Which FireAnime app should I use on my device?
To try FireAnime without installing anything, open the website in your phone or computer browser. For a dedicated app, choose the official FireAnime version for Android, Windows, Linux or your supported TV; on iPhone and iPad, start with Streamyfin. Use the device guide below to get the right app, with the setup and offline limits explained before you install.

Open FireAnime in your browser, search for an anime, then choose a season and episode. This is the simplest starting point on a phone or computer, including a Mac. You can explore without an account; sign in when you want your personal library and account features.
Choose an installed app if you want downloads on a supported device or an interface designed for a TV remote. The website has no offline episode library. Installing an app and downloading episodes are two separate steps.
Which device will you watch on?
Use the operating system of the device that will run the app. If a Fire TV Stick is plugged into an LG television, choose Fire TV Stick, not LG webOS.

- Follow that guide's installation and sign-in steps. You only need one app for that device; alternatives are choices, not additional requirements.
- If you want to watch without internet, check the offline options below before choosing your app.
Need episodes for a trip? Choose for offline viewing
- Android: use the official phone/tablet app and download individual episodes.
- Windows or Linux: use FireAnime Desktop for individual episodes or a whole season.
- iPhone or iPad: choose Streamyfin, not Swiftfin, for the documented download option. Downloads depend on the client version and the episode's source; read the iPhone offline guide and test a saved episode without internet before travelling.
- Website and official Android TV app: no offline episode library. Do not assume the Apple TV edition has downloads just because its iPhone edition does.
Saving an anime to your watchlist does not save its episodes. For other clients, check download availability before relying on offline viewing.
What is a Jellyfin client, and which server do I enter?
Streamyfin and Swiftfin are independently developed player apps, not renamed FireAnime apps. They are Jellyfin clients: players that connect to a media server. FireAnime provides a compatible server for its libraries, so you do not need to install or run your own.
In either compatible client, enter https://media.fireani.me and sign in with your FireAnime username and password. If you do not have a FireAnime account, register on the website first. An account from a different Jellyfin server is not a FireAnime account.
The official FireAnime Desktop app uses https://fireani.me instead. Do not swap these two addresses or add /api. Follow Jellyfin setup if your compatible client cannot connect.
The Streamyfin App Store listing and Swiftfin App Store listing show current device requirements. Their interfaces and features differ; do not expect every FireAnime website control inside them. For example, use the website's integrated player for Watch Together.
After installation: get to your first episode
Open your chosen app, finish any server setup described above, and sign in when prompted. In a Jellyfin-compatible client, open the library for your preferred language. Choose an anime, season and episode; installation alone does not start a download or choose a video language for you.
If you stayed in the browser, use the playback guide. If the app opens but playback fails, use playback troubleshooting—installing a different device's package will not fix an unavailable episode.
My television or device is not listed
“Smart TV” is not an operating system. Check the device's About or System information screen for Android TV, Google TV, Fire OS, webOS or tvOS. Menu names vary by manufacturer.
A Samsung phone may use Android, while a Samsung television may use Tizen. This guide does not provide an official FireAnime Tizen installation; an LG IPK or Android APK is not a substitute. If you already have a supported streaming box or stick connected to the TV, use that device's row above.
For an unlisted device, use the website on a supported phone or computer, or ask support with the device model and operating system. Do not assume an unlisted TV browser can play every source.
