How can I watch FireAnime on Apple TV?
Install Streamyfin or Swiftfin from the Apple TV App Store, add https://media.fireani.me as the server and sign in with your FireAnime account. Check the client's tvOS requirements first; this guide covers streaming, not offline downloads or Android APK installation.
Covered in this guide: Swiftfin · Streamyfin · Jellyfin-compatible apps — Apple TV
Choose an Apple TV client
Use Streamyfin as a starting option, or Swiftfin if you prefer that player and your tvOS version supports it. Both are available through the Apple TV App Store; you do not install the FireAnime Android TV APK.
The current listings require tvOS 16.4 or later for Streamyfin and tvOS 26.1 or later for Swiftfin. Check the listing on the Apple TV before installing. Older Apple TV models without an App Store cannot follow this route.
You need a FireAnime account, an internet connection and access to the App Store. You do not need a computer running your own media server.
Install and watch on the television
- On the Apple TV Home Screen, open App Store, search for Streamyfin and open its listing. Select Get or the download icon, then open the app.
- In the client, add a server. In Streamyfin, this is Add server if another server is already saved.
- Enter
https://media.fireani.meas the server address, includinghttps://, and connect. Do not enter the website address or add an/apipath. - Choose username/password sign-in and enter your FireAnime credentials. Create an account on your phone or computer first if needed.
- Open Anime · German Hardsub, Anime · German Dub or Anime · English Hardsub, depending on the language version you want. Select an anime, season and episode using the remote and start playback.
- If using Swiftfin instead, install its App Store app and use the same server and account. The surrounding buttons belong to Swiftfin and need not match Streamyfin.
Use the Jellyfin connection guide if you get stuck between adding the server and opening its libraries.
Check the first episode
The client shows FireAnime's libraries and plays an episode on the television. Test the chosen language and remote playback controls before adding more preferences. Changing the Apple TV menu language does not change the language of a video.
Common dead ends
- The app is not in your TV's store: Check the actual device and tvOS compatibility. An iPhone store listing does not install software on an older Apple TV.
- You have an LG or Fire TV device instead: Follow LG webOS or Android/Fire TV. The Apple TV streaming app on another TV is not an Apple TV device with tvOS apps.
- A code appears: Jellyfin Quick Connect and FireAnime's official-app QR pairing are different flows. Use username/password here; do not enter a Jellyfin code into the official FireAnime activation screen.
- You want downloads: iPhone/iPad download support does not establish offline support on Apple TV. This is a streaming setup.
- A library opens but playback fails: Check playback failures; reinstalling the client is not the first step.
