How do I install and use FireAnime on iPhone or iPad?
Install Streamyfin from the App Store, connect it to https://media.fireani.me, and sign in with your FireAnime account. There is no released official FireAnime iOS package; Swiftfin is a separate streaming alternative, not the offline route described here.
Covered in this guide: Streamyfin · Swiftfin — iPhone / iPad
Which iPhone app should I install?
Start with Streamyfin if you want one route for streaming and the documented iOS offline option. Swiftfin is an alternative for streaming, not the offline route described here. Both are independent Jellyfin-compatible players; neither is the official FireAnime Android app.
You need an Apple account for the App Store, internet access and a FireAnime account. Create a FireAnime account first if you do not have one. The current listings require iOS/iPadOS 16.4 or later for Streamyfin and 18.6 or later for Swiftfin; check the listing on your device before installing.
Install Streamyfin and connect
- On the iPhone or iPad, open Streamyfin in the App Store. Choose Get or the cloud-download icon, then Open.
- In Streamyfin, add a server. If saved servers are already listed, choose Add server.
- In Server URL, enter exactly
https://media.fireani.me. Replace any prefilledhttp://; do not add/api,/webor an episode link. Choose Connect. - Enter your FireAnime username and password on the sign-in screen. These are not your Apple account or a separate Jellyfin account.
- Open a language library: Anime · German Hardsub for Japanese audio with German subtitles, Anime · German Dub for German dubbing or Anime · English Hardsub for Japanese audio with English subtitles.
- Choose an anime, season and episode, then start playback.
These are Streamyfin's English control names; its displayed language and layout can vary by version. If you prefer Swiftfin, install its App Store app, add the same server address and sign in with the same FireAnime credentials. Follow the shared server guide for connection checks.
What should appear?
You can browse FireAnime's language libraries and open an episode inside the client. Installing the app alone does not populate its catalog until you connect the server and sign in.
Want to watch without internet? Continue with save an episode on iPhone/iPad; an App Store download does not save an anime video.
If setup does not work
- The App Store says incompatible: Check your iOS/iPadOS version and the app's current requirements. You can use FireAnime in your browser for online viewing without installing a client.
- You downloaded an APK: That is an Android installer and cannot be installed on iPhone. No released official FireAnime iOS installer is provided here.
- No server found: Local discovery scans your home network; FireAnime is online. Enter the full address manually.
- Connection works, login fails: Test your FireAnime credentials on the website, then use login troubleshooting. Do not log out of a remaining working session to test a forgotten password.
- The interface differs from the website: Compatible clients have their own features and settings. Do not expect every community, layout or Watch Together control to be present.
