Native MP4 and HLS playback

A custom HTML5 player uses the webOS media pipeline for direct video and adaptive HLS streams, with seeking, source switching, and episode controls built in.

Your library stays in sync

Watchlists, subscriptions, and playback progress follow your account. On supported TVs, session tokens are protected through LG Keymanager and login credentials are never stored.

Independent to the core

React, Enact Spotlight, and webOS services power a dedicated application with native Back handling, suspension behavior, and television-scale layouts.

Choose the package matching your TV. Both IPKs are intended for Developer Mode sideloading; store installations and updates will use LG's distribution channel.

Install in three steps

Enable Developer Mode on the television and connect it to the webOS TV CLI.

Download the IPK, then install it on the paired television with ares-install.

Open FireAnime TV from the LG launcher and sign in with the on-screen keyboard.
