How do I manage my watchlist, statuses and episode likes?
Add an anime to your watchlist from its main page and choose a status such as Plan to watch or Watching. This tracks the whole title, not your episode position. On the website, Account → Library → Liked contains episodes you gave a thumbs-up; subscriptions and downloaded files are separate again.

A watchlist entry does not perform the other four actions.
Add or update an anime on the website
- Use Search and open the anime’s main page, rather than an individual episode.
- Select Add to Watchlist, or the button showing its current list status.
- Choose the status that matches your intention:
- Plan to watch: save it for later.
- Watching: you are currently watching it.
- Completed: you consider the title finished.
- Paused: stopped for now but may return.
- Dropped: decided not to continue.
- Rewatching: watching it again.
- Open Account → Library → Watchlist, select that status tab and check that the title appears.
- To change it again, use the status dropdown on the list entry or the anime page. To remove the list entry entirely, choose Remove, check the anime named in the dialog and confirm.
The list opens on a status filter. An empty Plan to watch tab does not mean your Watching or Completed entries disappeared.
Find the same action in official apps
- Android mobile: open the anime detail page and tap its bookmark/status button. Select a status in the sheet; an existing status replaces the initial add label.
- FireAnime TV: open the anime detail page, focus Add to List or the current status and press OK. Choose a status with the remote.
- FireAnime Desktop: open the anime detail page and use its watchlist dropdown beside the viewing actions.
- LG webOS: on the anime detail page, choose Watchlist or the current status. If you see Sign in for watchlist, sign in first.
The TV/Desktop interfaces may show English status labels. When you cannot find an app’s list view, the website watchlist lets you manage the same account’s entries.
Find or undo episode likes
On the website, open the episode and select the thumbs-up below the player. Its highlighted state shows your like. Select that highlighted thumbs-up again to remove your reaction.
Open Account → Library → Liked to find those episodes, including their season and episode numbers. This is not the watchlist and is not a “downloaded anime” page. A heart on a community comment is a reaction to the comment, not an anime list status.
What should happen?
The anime appears under its selected watchlist status, while episode likes appear separately under Liked. A title can be in your watchlist and have liked episodes without being subscribed or downloaded.
If entries or statuses surprise you
- The title vanished after a status change: select its new status tab and check other list pages.
- Status changed after you started watching: website playback can move planned/paused/dropped titles to Watching, and completed titles to Rewatching. Set your intended status again if needed.
- You wanted every episode marked watched: Completed is a whole-title status, not an instruction to rewrite every episode’s progress.
- Your other device shows a different list: check the account and synchronization steps.
- You want to delete a downloaded file: removing a watchlist entry does not remove local video files; use download storage management.
