How do I read the calendar, and which time zone does it use?

Choose a release language and day in Calendar, then read each entry's Scheduled or Available badge and the displayed time zone. Scheduled times do not promise that a working source in your language is already available.

Covered in this guide: Website in a browser

What the calendar can tell you

Open the website's Calendar; no account is needed to read it. The schedule is filtered by Release language, so German Sub, German Dub and English Sub can have different entries.

Read the Times in … line below the selected date. After the page loads, it uses your browser's reported time zone. Your device's time-zone setting matters; changing the website's German/English interface language is not a time-zone setting.

Find a release for your language and day

  1. Open Calendar. Under Release language, choose DE Sub, DE Dub or EN Sub. If those labels are unfamiliar, read Sub/Dub explained.
  2. Select a date in the row of day buttons. The number on a day counts listed releases for the selected language, not every language combined.
  3. Use Next 7 days to move forward if the arrow is enabled. Use Previous 7 days to return, or Go to today when it appears. This is a rolling seven-day view, not a complete archive of every past broadcast.
  4. Check the title, episode number, time and badge on the card. Scheduled means planned; Available means the episode is marked available in the catalog.
  5. Open the card. A currently available episode can lead to its episode page; a planned entry may lead to the anime or season instead. On touch devices, the quick preview may open first—use its main action to continue.
  6. Want to follow that title without checking every day? Subscribe to its releases in your chosen languages.

Know whether to watch now or check later

An Available entry is a starting point for opening the episode and choosing a source. A Scheduled entry tells you when to expect a release, not that a working stream already exists.

Times are local to the zone displayed on the page. If two people are in different time zones, the same moment can fall on different dates. For example, shortly after midnight in central Europe can still be the previous day in America.

Empty days, disabled arrows and incorrect times

  • No releases: first check the selected language, then another day. An empty DE Dub day does not mean there are no DE Sub entries.
  • Next arrow disabled: you have reached the end of the available schedule. It does not mean there will never be further episodes.
  • Times look shifted: compare the displayed zone with your device's automatic time-zone setting. Correct the device setting if needed and reload. When travelling, check both the time and calendar date.
  • Scheduled time passed but no source: broadcasts, catalog updates and translated sources can arrive at different times. Check new episodes or the title's episode page; repeatedly changing the clock will not make a source appear.
  • Available entry will not play: use playback troubleshooting. Availability badges are not a live test of every source.
  • A date or episode is clearly wrong: send a report with the title, episode, language, displayed time zone and expected date. Do not send only “the calendar is wrong.”
