How do I request my data or ask for account deletion?
Submit a private request through the contact details in the Privacy Policy, stating whether you want access, export, correction, anonymization or account erasure. There is no one-click account-erasure setting; private profiles, sign-out and download deletion are different actions.

Choose the scope before sending a request
Use the contact process in the Privacy Policy for access to, export of, correction of, anonymization of or erasure of account data. The available website settings do not provide a one-click account-erasure button.
You may not need an account-wide request: profile visibility hides profile sections from visitors; comment and review controls remove individual contributions; download storage removes files on a device. These actions are not interchangeable.
Send a clear private request
- Open the Privacy Policy and use the current contact details under Contact Us. Contact also provides the site's contact route.
- State which action you want. For example: “I would like a copy of the data associated with my FireAnime account” or “I would like to request account erasure.” Say if you instead mean only a particular profile field or contribution.
- Give your FireAnime username and a way to reply privately. Say whether you still have a signed-in session, without sharing that session or its codes.
- Explain any important scope, such as whether your question also concerns reviews and comments. Ask for clarification before an irreversible change if you are unsure.
- Follow the team's response about verifying ownership and next steps. Never send your password, active QR code, browser cookies or sign-in tokens.
What confirms the request is handled?
Sending a message starts the request; it does not itself confirm export or deletion. Keep the response and wait for the team to explain the outcome or any remaining verification. This article does not promise an automatic completion time.
What other actions do not erase
Making your profile private does not erase its stored data. Signing out or revoking a device does not delete your FireAnime account. Removing local downloads does not remove watch history from your account, and account-data handling does not automatically wipe video files on your devices.
If you want to stop external progress updates while deciding what to request, disconnect tracking. Disconnecting does not undo updates already sent to AniList or MyAnimeList; those services manage their own data.
The Privacy Policy describes retention and handling of contributions and safety records. Use the private contact route for account-specific questions rather than publishing personal information in a comment.
