How do I share an anime, episode or scene?
On the website episode page, select Share and then Copy under Direct Link to send someone that episode. The copied URL does not include your current playback time or create a Watch Together room. To point out a scene, send the time alongside the episode link or attach a timestamp to a comment.

Decide what you want to send

These steps describe the website. Device share sheets and third-party apps may offer different destinations. Recipients still need access to the page and an available video source.
Copy or send an episode link
- Open the episode you mean to share. Check its season and episode heading.
- Select Share beneath the player, beside the Watch Together/group button. On a narrow screen, it is the share icon; its accessible label is Share episode.
- In the dialog, find Direct Link and select Copy. The confirmation says Episode link copied to clipboard.
- Paste into your message and check the anime and episode before sending. To share only the anime, return to its main page and copy that browser address instead.
- On a device that offers the system Share button, you may choose a destination app there instead. Closing the system sheet without sending does not share the link.
Some dialog labels, including Share, Direct Link and Copy, are currently English even when the site interface is German.
Point to a scene in comments
To discuss a scene publicly on FireAnime, sign in and use an integrated source:
- Pause at the moment you want to reference.
- Open the episode’s comments composer and select Add timestamp. It attaches the current player position; check the displayed time.
- Write your comment and choose the appropriate spoiler setting before posting.
- Readers can select the timestamp on the published comment to seek within the integrated player.
This is a comment timestamp, not a “copy scene link” button. For a private message, send the episode URL plus the time instead. Comment and spoiler guidance explains posting and visibility.
What should happen?
Your recipient can open the intended anime or episode. For a timestamp sent in a message, they can seek to that time using player controls. A comment timestamp can seek directly when opened with the integrated player.
If sharing does not work as expected
- Copy fails or clipboard access is blocked: select the text in Direct Link and copy it manually, or copy the episode’s address from the browser bar.
- The link opens at a different time: normal links do not carry the sender’s position. The recipient may also have their own saved progress.
- Add timestamp is unavailable: switch from an external source to the integrated player and let the video load.
- Your friend cannot play it: sharing does not make an unavailable source playable. Follow playback troubleshooting.
- The scene is a spoiler: keep revealing details out of the message preview and choose the comment’s spoiler setting; a timestamp alone does not hide spoilers.
