How do I write, rate and manage anime reviews?
Open Reviews on an anime page, choose Write a review, set five scores from 1 to 10 and add a title and written assessment before publishing. You can edit your own review later; Verified watcher reflects recorded activity, not an endorsement of the opinion.

Review the anime, not a playback problem
A review belongs to the whole anime and combines written impressions with five category scores. For one episode or scene, use episode comments. For a broken stream, use playback help instead of a review.
These steps use the website. You need a FireAnime account to publish or mark a review helpful; reading reviews does not require writing one.
Write and publish your review
- Find the anime, open its detail page and scroll to Reviews.
- Select Write a review. If you see Log in to review, sign in first. If your review is already listed, edit it rather than trying to publish another one.
- Set each slider from 1 to 10: Story, Animation, Sound, Character and Enjoyment. Judge each area separately and explain important differences in the text.
- Enter a Title of at least three characters and a Written review of at least ten characters. A useful review explains strengths, weaknesses and who might enjoy the anime, not just a score.
- Select the text's Language. Turn on Contains spoilers if the written review reveals plot details; readers must then reveal it deliberately.
- Select Publish review and wait for Review published.
Read and vote without confusing the labels
Use Most recent, Highest rated or Most helpful to choose the sort order. Highest rated concerns the review's score, while Most helpful reflects helpful votes. Use the language filter, or All languages when a selected language shows no reviews.
Select Helpful on another member's review if it helped you understand the anime. You cannot vote your own review helpful. Verified watcher means recorded watch activity supports that the member watched this anime; it is not proof they finished every episode or that their opinion is correct.
Edit, delete or share your review
- Open Account → Contributions → Reviews and choose Open at anime on your review.
- Open its three-dot Review actions menu. Edit reopens the scores and text; select Save changes after editing.
- Use Delete only to remove the review permanently, and read the confirmation.
- Use the review's Link for a direct link back to that review, rather than telling someone to search the entire page.
Check the result
The saved review appears on the anime with its category scores, language and spoiler marking. Your Reviews history provides a route back later. A concealed spoiler text is expected and can be opened with Reveal review.
If you cannot publish or find it
- Publish review disabled: check both title length and written-text length. The title can be up to 100 characters and the text up to 10,000.
- Save error: keep your draft, read the message and retry after checking sign-in and connection. Do not repeatedly submit duplicates.
- Review missing: clear the language filter, check the anime and return through your contribution history.
- No edit action: verify you are signed into the account that wrote it.
- Abusive or unmarked-spoiler review: use Report on the contribution. A disagreement about taste alone is not a technical fault.
