How do I avoid spoilers and report problematic community content?

Choose the correct spoiler scope in comment options or enable Contains spoilers on a review before publishing. To report someone else's problematic contribution, use its three-dot menu → Report, choose a reason and wait for submission confirmation.

Covered in this guide: Website in a browser

Decide whether you want to hide, correct or report

A spoiler warning protects readers from plot details; a content report asks moderators to review a contribution. Neither is the right tool for a broken video: use playback troubleshooting.

The following controls are on website comments and reviews. You must be signed in to report. For your own contribution, use Edit to correct its text or spoiler marking.

Mark your contribution before posting

  1. For an episode comment, open the plus button Comment options in the editor.
  2. Choose the scope that matches what you wrote:
    • No spoilers: safe without revealing episode events.
    • Episode spoilers: discusses events anywhere in this episode.
    • Spoilers up to timestamp: reveals events only up to an attached scene time. First attach that time with Add timestamp in the integrated player.
  3. Check the language and submit the comment. See the full comment steps.
  4. For an anime review, enable Contains spoilers in its editor before Publish review or Save changes. Keep the title free of plot revelations too; a warning on the written review is not a reason to spoil in the headline.

Why is a comment hidden?

A whole-episode spoiler remains concealed until you select Reveal comment. A timestamp-scoped comment stays concealed when the integrated player has not reached that time, or its position is unavailable. It can become visible when playback reaches the scene.

Only select Reveal comment or Reveal review when you want to read the spoiler. These controls cannot guarantee protection from incorrectly marked text, titles or content outside the contribution.

Report a specific comment or review

  1. Open the three-dot Comment actions or Review actions menu on the offending contribution and select Report.
  2. Under Select a Reason, choose the closest match: spam, harassment/hate speech, unmarked spoilers, illegal content or another rule violation.
  3. Add brief factual context under Additional Details (Optional), up to 500 characters. Explain what is wrong with this contribution; do not repeat someone's private information unnecessarily.
  4. Select Submit Report and wait for the successful-report message. A report goes to moderation, not into the public conversation.

What happens after reporting?

Confirmation means the report was submitted, not that the content has already been removed or that a decision is guaranteed. You have already reported this post means you do not need to submit the same report repeatedly. If sending fails, check your connection/sign-in and retry once the error is resolved.

Conduct and the right place for discussion

Discuss the anime constructively. Do not harass or impersonate others, publish private information or illegal/exploitative material, or flood conversations with mass-generated or deceptively AI-authored posts.

The old standalone discussion board and editorial feed are retired. Use reviews for the whole anime and comments for an episode. Use support for account problems and technical bugs; do not turn a public argument into a support ticket by exposing personal details.
