How do I revoke access for a paired device?

Open Security → Signed-in devices and select Sign out on the unwanted QR-paired TV or computer. Wait for the success message and the entry to disappear; this list is not a complete inventory of browser or third-party logins and does not erase downloaded files.

Covered in this guide: Website in a browser · FireAnime for Android

Which devices does this page show?

Security lists sessions created by FireAnime's QR/device-code sign-in, such as a paired TV or computer. You must be signed in to the account that approved them. This is not a complete “everywhere I am logged in” list: ordinary browser and third-party client logins may not appear.

Use this when you no longer use a paired TV, shared computer or unfamiliar device. To change the account on a device you are holding, local sign-out may be enough.

Sign out a paired device from the website

  1. Open Account → Settings → Security and scroll below the password form to Signed-in devices. This section currently uses English labels in both website languages.
  2. Select Refresh if you have just paired a device or the list seems out of date.
  3. Compare the device type, optional device name and Last used date. Do not assume every entry labelled Desktop is the same computer.
  4. Select Sign out on the entry you want to remove. There is no extra confirmation in this website list, so choose the row carefully.
  5. Wait for Device signed out. The entry disappears from the list. Repeat for other unwanted paired devices.

Use the official Android app instead

  1. Open Account → Security in the signed-in Android app.
  2. Scroll below the password form to Signed-in devices and compare the device name and Last used date.
  3. Select Sign out on that device and wait for the entry to disappear. This removes the paired TV/computer, not the phone you are using.

If the app cannot load the list or remove the entry, use the website Security page to refresh and check it. Neither interface remotely erases downloaded videos.

What happens on the removed device?

Its pairing is no longer valid for authenticated requests. If you want to use it again, begin a new QR/device sign-in. Revocation does not remotely wipe the device or necessarily close a video already playing.

If the entry is missing or removal fails

  • No paired devices yet: check that this is the right FireAnime account. The message does not prove you are signed out in every browser.
  • Paired devices could not be loaded: use Refresh after checking the connection; an empty/error list is not evidence that access was revoked.
  • That device could not be signed out: the action failed. Retry and wait for confirmation before treating it as removed.
  • Unknown access: also change your password. Sign out other clients directly when their sessions are not listed.
  • Downloaded videos remain on the device. To remove files from a device you control, use its download storage controls.
