THE ONE PIECE Anime Unveils Key Visual

The official X (formerly Twitter) account for the new THE ONE PIECE anime today released a key visual, which is an homage to the title page of manga Chapter 1. The tagline reads: "The 'Dawn of Adventure' We Can't Wait For." The WIT Studio-animated new series is set to premiere on Netflix in February 2027.

The series is directed by Masashi Koizuka at WIT Studio, with Hideaki Abe as assistant director, Taku Kishimoto writing the series composition, Yuki Hayashi composing music and Kyoji Asano and Takatoshi Honda drawing the character designs. And Mayumi Tanaka is confirmed to reprise her role as Monkey D. Luffy.***THE ONE PIECE ***adapts the series from the start for, according to Netflix, a “fresh yet familiar experience, utilizing cutting-edge visual technology to reimagine Luffy’s adventures through the beloved East Blue Saga.”All seven episodes will cover the East Blue saga up to the meeting of Sanji, adding up to around a 300-minute runtime and spanning roughly 50 chapters of Oda's manga.
