Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment announced today that The Irregular at Magic High School THE MOVIE -Yotsuba Succession Arc-, the latest movie in The Irregular at Magic High School anime series, will release theatrically in the United States and Canada on November 1, 3 and 4. The film will be released both in Japanese with English subtitles, as well as an English dub.

The Irregular at Magic High School was originally published on Shosetsuka ni Naro from October 2008 to March 2011, before the series was physically published under ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Bunko imprint from July 2011 to September 2020. Tsutomu Sato penned the story and Kana Ishida provided the illustrations.The first season of The Irregular at Magic High School anime debuted in April 2014, and was followed by a second season in October 2020, an original-story film in June 2017, a prequel special in December 2021 and a third season in April 2024. The spin-off series The Honor at Magic High School*** ***was also adapted into a 13-episode anime and aired in July 2021. Based on the light novel by Tsutomu Sato, The irregular at magic high school is set in a world where magic exists but instead of using chants and spells, magic users cast spells with their Casting Assistant Device (CAD).
