As its title suggests, Mirai Moriyama, an internationally acclaimed actor and dancer from Kobe, is featured as a vocalist. The song was released digitally on August 19 and will also be included in the anime's original soundtrack album, which will be available on September 9.

The original Ghost in the Shell manga was serialized from April 1989 to November 1990 in Kodansha's Young Magazine seinen manga publication.
