The latest fashion collab for Eiichiro Oda’s ONE PIECE*** ***is a big one with Nike, which plans to unleash a trio of Devil Fruit-themed Air Max Plus footwear along with select apparel items this September.The Air Max Plus styles include Gomu Gomu no Mi, Mera Mera no Mi and Ope Ope no Mi. All have varying levels of availability, with the Gomu Gomu Air Max Plus kicking off SNKRS pre-orders in the United States, Japan and select European countries starting on September 25. According to Nike, the Mera Mera Air Max Plus will “only be available at select retailers in Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Mexico beginning September 12, and in Australia October 16-18.”
Those who want the Ope Ope Air Max Plus will have to check select retailers in the United States and Europe on September 19.
The rest of the collection includes everything from jerseys to shirts and caps modeled after specific ***ONE PIECE ***details. There’s even a shirt featuring the Jolly Roger Luffy scrawled as a mark of promise, and a vest inspired by “the effects of the Devil Fruits, which are said to make those who eat them ‘hated by the sea’ and unable to swim.”
