Hiroyuki Hashimoto (TOUGEN ANKI assistant director) directs the Magical Girl Raising Project Restart** anime at studio SynergySP, with series composition by Takao Yoshioka and character designs by Masako Ito. Hashimoto directed and Takao Yoshioka wrote for the first anime series at studio Lerche, where Ito served as SD character designer.Crunchyroll currently streams the original Magical Girl Raising Project **anime and describes the story:

Magical Girl Raising Project is a popular social game that has an ability to grant players a 1 in 10,000 chance to become a real life Magical Girl with unique magical abilities to help people. However, at some point, Fav, the magical administrator fairy, decides to cut the population of Magical Girls in half.
